Why is MAHA Fishing Better?
Most of the information on this web site focuses on why Mid
America Game Bird Association is possibly the best thing to ever come along for the
hunters. Does the same apply for fishing?
Our leases have a large assortment of farm ponds, strip pits, and
irrigation lakes that have produced many trophy fish over the years.

Good public fishing is usually easier to find in Kansas and
Missouri than good public hunting. But, you may prefer to fish private leases instead of
public lakes and reservoirs if: |

You want to avoid congested lakes with heavy boat traffic, noise and wakes |
|
|
You may want to avoid skiers and personal watercraft |
|
|
You might like the peace and serenity, and the natural experience of
fishing a private lake, farm pond, a strip pit, or Missouri River blue hole you have reserved all
to yourself and your party for the day |

|
You may prefer to look up on the banks and see deer, furbearers and other
wildlife, rather than the wild life of lake "party-ers" and rows of
lakefront houses and docks |

Maybe you want to use a float tube without worrying about getting run over
and have a prop make fish bait out of you |

How about some quiet waters where you can use a
fly rod for bass |
If you like to relax and enjoy yourself rather than dodge dozens
of speeding bass boats and ski boats - we have got what you are looking for. We have
dozens of private properties with excellent fishing for private fishing opportunities in a
reservation basis. Non-members don't have access to these properties, and there are
relatively few fishermen in the club, which adds up to fishing spots where there a lots of
fish and lots of big fish.
Many of these properties offer good private camping which
provides for peaceful and fun outings for the whole family.
Like most things in life you have the "masses" and you
have the "classes", and our fishing opportunities are in a class of their own.
