    Other Species
    Firearms and Archery
    Kansas, Missouri and Iowa
    Liberal Seasons and Limits
Can Be Combined with Most Any Other Game
Most of our leases hold an abundance of small game.
What a great way to introduce youngsters to hunting! Many of us treasure memories of learning to hunt as youngsters in pursuit of small game with .410 shotgun and .22's. Want to keep your kids out of trouble? Get them interested in the outdoors at a young age.
Seasons and limits are liberal in Kansas, Missouri and Iowa. In fact, small game hunting seasons often remain open when seasons for other game hunting are closed, giving MAHA members more hunting opportunities throughout the year. Dust off those .22's - it's great!
Bowhunters, this is an excellent way to sharpen shooting skills in the off season, especially when combined with off season scouting for deer.
As always, check with local state government regarding licenses, seasons, and regulations.
Small game hunting is possibly the most under- appreciated resource of our hunting heritage.
