Mid America Hunting Association Services Our Primary Goal Hunting and Fishing Leases Reservation System Hunting & Fishing Planning Assistance Members Handbook Ariel Photos Membership ID for You and your Vehicle Miscellaneous Member Services     Our Primary Goal The primary goal of Mid America Hunting Association is providing its members the finest hunting, fishing and camping opportunities in the Mid West   This goal is accomplished through all of various Mid America Hunting Association resources and services described on this page and throughout this web site We are a service organization with member satisfaction as our primary concern Our success is measured in our membership roll of over 650 members, with a high percentage of long term members. Hunting and Fishing Leases Hunting, Fishing and Camping Opportunities Current club leases include over 200,000+ acres of prime hunting, fishing and camping  properties. Property leases cover Kansas and Missouri, and Iowa. These vast resources include opportunities for most all varieties of game and fish available in the Mid West Most all types of Mid West habitat and terrain are available to meet all types of hunting and fishing strategies techniques and preferences Mid America Hunting Association lease coverage maps of over 200,000+ acres of leased properties All leases are posted with our own signs to keep non-members out and to mark property boundaries for members

Reservation System

• All hunting, fishing and camping is by exclusive reservation

• Reservations ensure quality "no surprises" hunting, fishing and camping opportunities for you and your party

• The reservation system serves also as a resource management mechanism to control hunting/fishing pressure and prevent over hunting of leased properties

Hunting & Fishing Planning Assistance

• The professional staff of Mid America Game Bird Association is there for you  to help you plan your hunting, fishing and camping trips.

• With many years of experience with all available species, detail knowledge of the properties, and landowner assistance on tap, the Mid America Hunting Association staff can help you:

  	select a place to hunt, fish, and camp
  	coordinate hunts for all species including combo hunts
  	pass along knowledge regarding productive strategies and techniques for the particular game and habitat at hand
  	Provide useful tools such as aerial photos
  	Give directions when necessary and identify property characteristics, farm roads, and boundaries

Members Handbook

• Members Handbook

Each member is provided a Members Handbook that contains:

• Complete set of club rules and regulations

• Comprehensive set of property maps

• Game and fish information for each property

• Directions for getting to the property

• Special instructions for each property, where applicable (i.e., gate locks, etc.)

Ariel Photos

• Ariel photos are available at the office for many of the club properties

• Ariel photos are particularly useful to deer hunters for plotting terrain and cover "funnels" for deer movement

Membership ID for You and your Vehicle

• Your membership ID card identifies you as a member of Mid America Game Bird Association to land owners and other members

• It also serves as written permission to hunt Mid America Hunting Association land posted with signs legally requiring written permission to hunt

• The Mid America Hunting Association sticker identifies your vehicle to land owners and other members when parked on leased private property, especially when you are way from it pursuing game

Miscellaneous Member Services

There are numerous miscellaneous member services, including:

Buddy System

• Need a hunting or fishing partner? Call the Mid America Hunting Association office and add your name to the Buddy System list

• This is an excellent way to meet other Mid America Hunting Association members

• This is also an excellent opportunity to learn to hunt or fish for species with which you lack experience, by teaming up with and learning from an old veteran.

 News Letters

• News letters are published and mailed regularly regarding club news, new services, and special events

Special Events

• Open houses, pig roasts, etc. are among some of the special events hosted Mid America Game Bird Association for its members
