Kansas Deer Hunting - over multiple deer management units

Kansas deer hunting is for Mule and Whitetail Deer. Association deer land is over grain farm country cut by wooded drainages connecting many small wood lots.

Our approach is for the average hunter with limited time that seeks a good hunt. That is the ability to hunt any time during the season, chose day to day where to hunt and hunt each season.

We get the hunter to the right region of the state that has a history of production then to the right lease. The hunter then makes the rest of the hunt providing all his own skill and equipment. Most cover over 2,000 acres quickly then up to 4,000 later. In that acreage hunters find 3 to 5 spots to their liking. It is common to have stands on several.

Kansas Pheasant Hunting - the best pheasant hunts we have

Kansas pheasant hunting is the best we have to offer. It beats that of Iowa due to a greater pheasant population density over more tall grass acreage. What is unique is the pheasant holding brush and grass draws that give variety to the huntable cover.

Regional protective cover differences exist. The advantage is that most upland bird hunters find is that one regional difference will more suit his dog power than another. As dog power or hunt styles change so may the hunter flex over to different regions. At the very least the chance to be on different ground each day is a motivator to hunt a bit more. And, there are quail making for mix bag hunts meaning more dog on bird action per day.
