Membership I am not a Kansas or Missouri resident, can I still join MAHA? We have members from as far away as both east coast and west coast states that travel to the Mid West to hunt. With the reasonable membership costs, this is a practical option, especially compared to the high cost regularly paid for guided hunts.

Membership How much does MAHA membership cost? 1. See the "membership fees" page for individual and family options.
Membership As a MAHA member, can I take non-members as guests hunting and fishing? Yes, see the "club rules and regulations" page for details and restrictions and also see the "membership fees" page for guest pass fees.

Hunting / Fishing How good is the hunting in Kansas, Missouri and Iowa? Very good, if not the best! See the detail hunting information pages for each type of hunting, as well as the "wild game population distribution" links.
Hunting / Fishing Do you offer guide / outfitter service? Sorry, we do not offer guide or outfitter service.
Hunting / Fishing Do you offer shooting preserves?
  • Sorry, we do not offer offer shooting preserves. 
  • However, the professional experienced staff will will put you in touch with some if you need a place to work your dogs.
  • The price of a Mid America Hunting Association is far less than that of hunting preserves.
Hunting / Fishing Does your hunting involve penned in or farm raised game?
  • All Mid America Hunting Association leases feature wild game, never raised and released birds.
  • All Mid America Hunting Association leases feature natural habitat, never penned-in game.
Hunting / Fishing Are non-resident licenses available in Kansas, Missouri and Iowa?
  • Yes, non-resident licenses are available for most species/types of hunting in Kansas, Missouri and Iowa.
  • There are drawings in Kansas, Missouri and Iowa for some licenses, particularly for non-residents, special hunt areas, etc. See the "licensing links page", and get the latest license and drawing information from the official state web sites. Web Site How do I work the dynamic menus on the top and sides of each page? Menu Bar at top of Page:
  • These menus work like the drop-down menus you are currently finding on many of  the better commercial and e-commerce web sites.
  • These menus will not work dynamically with older technology browsers that do not support DHTML (Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 is recommended, and can be downloaded free.)
  • Using your mouse, position you cursor over the menu titles but don't click yet
  • When the dynamic menu appears below the topic you selected, move your cursor down to the subtopics in the menu.
  • Now click on the subtopic you are interested in to go to a new page with details regarding your choice.

Menu on Left Side of Page:

  • These menus work much like the left pane in the details view of your Windows Explorer
