Looking at the background and hunter clothing of many deer harvest pictures shows early, mid and late season hunts.

Best Spots Not taken
New to the Association deer hunters fear they will not have access to the best spots. The fear is that long time Association hunters have a lock on all the best land. That is not the case.
One last observation given to us by more than a handful of hunters over the years is the more time they spend on the land the more stand locations they find.
This may seem a blinding flash of the obvious until digging into it deeper. Their point is that they have seen more trophy quality racks on land they would not have previously considered first choice deer hunting locations. This
expands a hunter's willingness to hunt land that may not have appeared as good when examined by aerial photo alone.
It is that those that make it past their third year in the Association typically start to transition to land they would not have considered their first season.
Doe Harvest
We allow and encourage the harvest of doe for the table or charity.
Mule Deer Hunting
Kansas Mule Deer have become nationally well known making the Kansas Mule Deer tag a competitive draw.
In terms of Association hunts be it for Mule or Whitetail Deer our approach is the same.
