Announcing: Our New Name!

            (Don't Worry - Same Great Hunting and Fishing)

We are proud to announce "Mid America Hunting Association", formerly, "Mid America Game Bird Association"  (since 1965).   The name has changed, but some things will never change:

• We still offer the same great hunting, fishing and camping on 250,000+ acres of privately leased land in Kansas, Missouri and Iowa.

• We are still owned and operated by the same great people who have earned the finest reputation in hunting and fishing clubs in the Mid West over these past decades, respected by sportsmen and landowners alike.

When Mid America Game Bird Association was first formed in 1965, the focus really was, as the name implies, on upland game and waterfowl hunting.  This was just before the great rebound of the deer herds and the wild turkey population explosion that has occurred over the last several years.  This was also before we acquired leases on such vast acreage that now spans excellent populations of even more diverse game species.

And quite often over the years, our club name has led to some confusion in Yellow Pages and newspaper ads, where we were often mistaken for private shooting preserves, or for a "game bird-only" hunting club.  Likewise, with landowners and  lease opportunities, often farmers with excellent deer or turkey hunting opportunities mistakenly believed they could not lease their land to a "game bird-only" club.  Hence the name change.

Nothing else, however, has changed. We still offer to you our commitment to provide the finest hunting, fishing and camping opportunities in the Midwest, and the finest service available to help make your outdoors experiences memorable.

We welcome you to join us in starting out the new millennium, with our new name, to begin our finest era yet, of unforgettable outdoor experiences.
